   Originally from Canada, this conifer inhabits the slopes of the mountains and peat bogs.

It has a gray-brown bark with a tendency to peel off, red flowers in groups and needle-like leaves. The fruit is a hanging cone, brown red, 4 cm long.

Tips & tricks:
